A collaboration with the hip-hop band Dornkappel with the aim to interconnect their musical concepts with visuals for their second album Requiem. Dornkappel is a hip-hop trio from Bratislava, Slovakia consisting of two brothers and their close friend. The name is referencing their roots, the suburb Trnávka, historically known as Dornkappel. The band was founded in 2010 and has been working tirelessly for the past decade – they recorded several mixtapes, two studio albums and got nominated for the Best Newcomer Award at Slovak Radio’s Radio_Head Awards.

The goal was to create a complex visual identity for an album that would mirror its musical content with the result of a singular audio-visual experience. Requiem’s concept is the life story of the band’s frontman, from his childhood to the present. As the tracks go on, this story is gradually unveiled as his character fully forms. This principle served as the basis for the artwork cover hidden behind a film of lottery paper that is to be scratched off by a guitar pick (included in the package). In doing so, the listener is unveiling the frontman's portrait, made out of his childhood photos, pictures of his musical idols or various visual references.
